Friday 10th August 18:25hrs - Web-02 Control Panel Upgrade.

We are currently upgrading the control panel to version 8.2 on Web-02 - the control panel will be unavailable for a short period of time while we carry out this work (all other services remain un-affected) - please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.

18:45hrs - Web-02 Control panel is now available.

Thursday 12th July 2007 08:00hrs - Web-01 customers experience slow outbound E-Mail delivery.

The recent series of security patches and software updates have caused a few issues with the outbound SMTP service on Web-01 - we have setup alternative delivery methods through our main inbound gateways however please expect some delays in processing outbound messages until we rectify the problem. Please note that inbound messages and all other services are totally un-affected by this problem. Customers on WEB-02, WEB-03 and WEB-04 are also unaffected by this problem.

Update Thursday 12th July - 12:30hrs SMTP outbound services on WEB-01 now running as normal

Wednesday 11th July 2007 15:32hrs - WebMail Client Running Slow

An upgrade on our WebMail services has caused some minor disruption to Webmail services today - WebMail is available however may be running slow for the next few hours until the issues have been resolved. All other mail services are completely un-affected by these upgrades - please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.

Update Wednesday 11th July - 23:00hrs WebMail service now running as normal.

Tuesday 19th June 2007 21:45hrs - 550 errors on certain outbound messages from NexByte-Web-02

Backscatter protection was recently introduced on all of our inbound Mail Exchanges. This has caused outbound delivery issues to a few providers using SMTP call-back to verify sender addresses.

This issue has now been resolved we apologise for any inconvenience.

We are currently upgrading Plesk to version 8.1 on NexByte-Web-02 - please accept our apologies for any minor interruptions to control panel access - all other services will be unaffected.

We are currently installing a new high performance secondary mail exchange. There may be some minor disruption to mail services this evening whilst configuration work is completed.

Mail services are currently running slow due to unusually heavy spam on numerous domains. We are currently resolving the services difficulties and hope to resume full services within next few hours.

Saturday December 10th 2005 - "Message Delayed" notification messages

If you are Web 1 customer (previously Buzinet Web 5) and have been experiencing message delayed reports then it is possible that you are infected with the MyTob virus. The MyTob virus will keep firing out messages informing you that your email account has been suspended directing you to open the attached file to restore your services. These messages will go out to any recipients found in your contacts including other people within your organisation. It is noted that many Anti-Virus packages (including Kaspersky Labs on our Mail Exchanges) initially had difficulty picking this one up hence a few customer have been infected where attachments have been opened.
